Intellex help - How to convert to edit in FCP

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have recordings taken from an Intellex CCTV system. They currently exist on a DVD. The videos are only viewable while using the Intellex player. I need to convert these videos to a file format that I can edit in Final Cut Pro. I don't have access to the Intellex system, I only have the finalized DVD that requires the Intellex player to view the videos.

The exported videos can be any type of viewable video format that doesn't require the Intellex player for viewing.

I have read online that you can get a add-on called "Network Client", but I am unable to find any information on how to purchase or download.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the consideration.

Hello.

The best way to convert the file to an AVi is with the Network Client software.

You can still use some 3rd party devices, no mentioning capture card and so on ...

A copy of The network client software comes with each purchased Intellex machine. However, if you would like to get a copy, you will need to purchase it from any distributor, since the version that is downloadable from AD's website doesn't include the license key. You can find some on e-bay also.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
