adata dvr without rs485

its only got an rs232 conector

just noticed now i have it with me it says rs485 alarm

looks like it has rs485 but not sure how to conect the 2 wires from the ptz

your manual will show the pinouts for the rs485 - it will probably be only two pins of that connector.

If they don't have your exact DVR, you could look for one with the same DB25 alarm connector, and assume that the pinout is (hopefully/maybe) the same.

can you post a picture of the front..... it looks like an old hikvision.

 

also if it works (looks like its been at the bottom of a pond with all the rust on the connectors)

 

see if it has PTZ controls on the software. delta wave (hik) does not

its dust not rust

it has the ptz software and its definatly an adata apollo lite dvr

they are all newer with the green plugs with the rs485 on
