TRIPLEX MP4 SDVR: Client or Web Not Working

Hi,

 

I've installed a Triplex MP4 SDVR.

This is a 4 channel DVR with 10/100 ethernet connection.

I configured the web settings (IP Address, DNS server, etc.), and enabled the web viewer.

I can't view images from the DVR with either the client software or through a browser.

 

The DVR is on the network, I can ping it.

When I connect to it from the web I install the ActiveX stuff.......but then I get a blank page.

 

Has anyone experienced this?

Any pointers?

Is this the GE Triplex SDVR?? If not please provide brand name.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that it's not a GE, but the box has no brand.

I'm continuing to research to see if I can find more info on it.

Ignore Ping, try Telnet like this

 

TELNET IP PORT

 

if it clears the screen and prompt at the top, then you are connected. That means that works.

 

That PDF is corupt or something.

 

Make sure the IE security settings, under ActiveX Controls, are set to Prompt, if they are set to disabled, leave any enabled check boxes as is. Dont just enable the disabled ones, or you would have security issues browsing the web, just prompt them.

 

If still no go, PM me the IP so i can test it from my IE if you like.
