Amplified mic for Dahua IP CAM?

Recommended Posts

Used a mic just like that with a IPC-HFW3200C. You will need to run a rg-59 Siamese with rg-59 f connections on both sides from the mic to the cam's audio in and also you will need to hook up the power to a power source as the camera will not power it.

I bought this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170909305011 but neither the audio in OR the power cable were the correct size for my Dahua (IPC-HDBW3300) camera.

Does anyone know what mic I need for this camera, that has the correct plugs?

Hi. you will find most connections are like that..... all you need is a lead like this and a 12v power supply

Ok figured it out. You do NOT need a RG59 on my camera + mic.
