Identifying a DVR

Recommended Posts

Hello all

Not sure if anyone can help but, I'm trying to identify a DVR so I can check if there are any firmware updates or any newer software, as what I have seems a little buggy.

The information I have is..

* The device vendor when doing a network scan is Kingwave Technology

* The PC software is called ViewCMS

* The mobile application is called MobileEye

Here are a few pictures of the device and the menus

Thanks in advance!

I found that the best way to ID a DVR is to take the cover off and take numbers from the board. I was surprised to find numbers that matched up to a manufaturer different from the name which I purchased it as. I have been adding hard drives and then decided to keep a log of what I was adding and make a list of all the numbers I found inside. I googled my Q-See 518 and got some helpful reports that led me to the LTS manufacturer site.
