Various issues viewing remotely

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, hope you can help me.

I have two 16 Channel 9116V DVR recorders.

http://www.chinaeera.com/Universal-Embedded-DVR-CEE-9116V_g.html

Recently BT changed the router and I lost all connections externally.

The two recorder are 192.168.0.19 and 20

I can connect fine on internal network.

I have a static IP address, I have port forwarded ports 80, 37776 and 37777, the latter two is written on top of the DVR's so I expect its correct ?

If I go to my static IP I am able to connect to one DVR, login and password accepts however I just get a quicktime logo looping,no video, on internal network it is fine.

On mobile it wont connect at all, I have input new static IP, ports username password etc.

So I have two issues, one being the connectivity via the staitic IP address, connects on PC, not on phone, no actual video available though.

The other issue is I am not sure on how to network the two devices so they are both viewable as I get a conflict when trying to port forward.

Any advice thankfully received.

Each DVR needs its own Ports

Example :

DVR 1

192.168.0.19

http port: 80

server port : 37776 and 37777 (i'm guessing)

DVR 2

192.168.0.20

http port: 81

server port: 37778 and 37779 or something

type in http://192.168.0.20:81 after you change the http port

Remote viewing separate DVRs

DVR1

http://external IP (don't have to type 80, but any numbers besides 80 you have to type in a colon then port number)

DVR2

http://external IP:81
