I have a 3 y.o girl, and my wife always want to "see" her during the night or when the babysitter is here. BUT - my girl is very smart and dont want camera in her room... or something that look like camera. (i dont blame her - i dont want camera in my room) So, i found the Hikvision very sleek camera Hikvision 3 Megapixel 2.8mm (DS-2CD2532F-IS) or the 4.0 MP Geovision Fisheye IP Dome Camera. This will be very similar look to smoke detector. i also need 5 more cameras for the outside 3 dome and 2 bullet. areas are 50-60 feet. What configuration would you recommend within $15000 budget ? abdelm01 0 Posted September 15, 2014 I would definitely go with hikvision, You would need the following to achieve your goal: DS-7608NI-SE/8P w/1TBHDD - $549 DS-2CD2532F-IS - $200 (3) DS-2CD2132-I -$510 (2) DS-2CD2032-I- $340 This would be your best bet, and you might can get it cheaper shopping around at different websites but this is average. this would be just your cameras, also keep in mind you would be RJ45 cables to each camera, you can buy a roll of it at a local hardware store with connectors and crimpers if you are running the wires yourself. that would be your cheapest and best route to a reliable system.
