Analogue DVR + Hikvision issue

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

New guy here, and i have a question.

I have a standard analogue DVR with 4 cameras, all working well.

I tried adding a Hikvision DS-2CE16C5T-VFIR3 and its not coming on at all it seems. Is there a compatibility issue perhaps?

Trying to use a HDTVI camera on an analog DVR? Nope.

You either need to change your DVR to a model that supports HDTVI, or change the camera for one with analog output.
