8ch NVR with PoE install question

Installing an 8ch NVR with 8 PoE Ports... 4IP cameras will be installed in the exterior of the home where the NVR is located. Another 4 IP cameras will be installed in a barn about 200-300 ft away... Don't have much experience with NVRS but I was hoping on utilizing 4 of the PoE Ports for the 4 cameras attached to the home, then run 1 aerial cat 5 cable to the barn

and run it to a 4 port PoE switch where I can hook up those 4 cameras to... therefore utilizing 5 put of the 8 ports on the NVR... will the NVR pickup the IP addresses of all of those 4 cameras coming off that switch? Even though they are coming from the 1 port that switch is utilizing?
