I have a hikvision NVR DS-9632. I am using Hikvision DS-2cd2032F-I 3mp bullet cameras. The cameras work great.

 

The problem I am having is when I add the cameras to the system, is shows them as Channel D01 D02, etc. But in Live view all the cameras are listed as Camera01 so I Cannot view all the cameras simultaneously. Is there a setting I am missing? I called HikVision and was advised the cameras are China version and the NVR is US so they cannot assist. I can watch the streams without an issue and they are recording but there should be a way to log in and view the 16+ cameras on the screen at the same time without having to start each camera to view it in real time.

found your tech manual. it doesn't matter what cameras you have tied to your system with regard to setting up a multi screen display. that would be found in your system settings.

Well, how about changing their names so you know what camera is each one? Doh.

 

And no matter what name they have, you can have a 4x4 view, even if they are all called the same.

The Camera 01 is the Text Overlay setting in the camera.

If you can't remove/change that from the NVR, login to the camera and do the changes there.
