cctv cameras not working on dvr floureon

hello guys ,

i hope you can answer my questions.

Ok i have just bought an 8ch floureon dvr kit off ebay it cam with 4x 900tvl cameras.

i already had 4 x 1500tvl floureon cameras which were working i have tried on the dvr but wont work any ideas whats wrong?

oh i forgot to mention i have tried the floureon cameras that came with the kit and they work

any help would be great

Hi. Your first dvr was a AHD format and your new sounds like it's analog only.

 

Can you only connect 2 of your old cameras to your dvr and see what happends

In my system/ encode menu it has settings for ahd l 960h which the dvr defaults to

I connected two of my old cameras and get nothing but a black screen

Not sure if this info helps any

 

The cameras i had are 4 x floureon 1500TVL 1.0MP 720P Outdoor Waterproof CCTV DVR Bullet Cameras

 

cameras that came in kit 4 X 900TVL Waterproof IR-Cut Bullet Security Cameras

 

 

The dvr is a Floureon 8CH 960H HDMI Onvif CCTV DVR

The new DVR is analog only, so any HD cameras, which your previos cameras most likely are, will not work with it (AHD, HDTVI, HDCVI, etc).
