live audio monitoring

I have a geo 8.0 system with the 16 audio input card. I have set up the audio moniting and recording and activated all channels. My question is can you monitor live from the server or does the live monitoring only work on the client/webviewer? The customer would like to click on a camera and have the option to listen also. On ver 8 can you video reslolution be set to 640X480 the muanual says so but I know in the past you had to use a lower setting

Yes you should be able to listen to it locally. Unless they did something new in version 8 to change this you should be able to hear everything locally at the DVR.
