IP cameras blocked.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I have a client with a 16 channel Tiandy NVR and a combination of Provision and Hikvision IP cameras. The client had another technician come out to replace an apparently faulty camera and when this was done 5 of the Hikvision cameras dropped out and came up with “no video”

This technician then told the client that those 5 cameras also need replacing! However now he won’t even return their calls or anything.

I went in to the NVR settings and under the cameras network settings it shows these 5 cameras as “ account blocked “ not locked, blocked.

I was going to try resetting the cameras to factory defaults but these model of Hikvision cameras do not have a reset switch and the SADP tool does not seem to be of much help.

Obviously neither I nor the client know which supplier these cameras were purchased from.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Roger.
