Qvis Atlantis 16CH DVR master reset/password reset?

Morning folks, I have recently acquired a Qvis Atlantis 16ch DVR as a cheapie to fire a couple of camera's up at home - When I collected it off the guy he tols me there were no passwords set in the machine, however it appears he was wrong!

I wish to reset the box to factory, or at least reset the passwords so i can use the box, and get my cams working but there seems to be no obvious way of doing it, and google isnt being much help.

If anyone can help me it would be most appreciated! Many thanks :)

Hi this unit needs to be switched off every 3rd password attempt for 30 mins

try these first

tried the blank as it says enter null for password, ill havent tried 888888 yet, ill do that when i put the cmos battery back in!

Tried all these, cant get it to do owt! it wont even display anything when i plug a camera in to the input, i think it all needs resetting

powered off a 12V 6 way, connected to a 5A PSU only got 1 cam on it ATM, just bench testing before i commit to anything!

1st pic is showing all the inputs, there is a cam connected at this point, but no feed. reckon a setting needs changing.

 Hi. That’s the gui for the Apollo lx

it also does not have camera settings so will only run standard analog cameras upto 960h

also it sounds like you never got the power supply with your recorder 

not good to run dvr and cameras on same supply

I don't think todays code will do any good, note the time/date on the screenshot. 24/04/2019! and i cant change the time/date without the codes, catch 22! LOL

 

Ive put A pic up of the cams i am using, and i although I dont have the proper PSU for the DVR, i do have another one, that will do the job so they will be separate! like i say, im testing ATM!
