The answer is no p2p (peer to peer) is usually setup via qr code or serial number and opens the ports it needs by its self on your router which then connects camera to another server usually in China ….. when you access camera on your local network you can use its local iP but when away from your own network you are infact getting the data from the 3rd party server Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
