Reset VOOK VDT2516HE-C password

I have this 16ch DVR but I dont know password I have access via telnet

I have this 16ch DVR but I don't know password I have access via telnet, the DVR is VOOK VDT2516HE-C, somewhere I read that I need go in /mnt/mtd/config/ and delete some UserConfig file

but I can't find that article now. Here is content of that dir on my DVR

 

/mnt/mtd/config # ls

CruiseConfig.dat    PresetConfig.dat    ScheduleConfig.dat  config.dat[/CODE]

 

Does anyone have idea what I could try ?

If you delete user files then it’s bricked 

you have to also take into account that this unit is D1 recorder and is over 16 years old
