Please post Geovision screenshots so we can compare quality.

Recommended Posts

To get the best out of our Geovision systems,

I think it would help to post images to compare quality.

If you could be so kind as to post an original image with a little info on:

Camera brand,

TVL,

Price,

Recording Interlaced or De-interlaced, ect.

If posting the image is a problem, please PM me.

Thank you very much for helping.

Same camera at night, built in IR lights.

Minimum ambient light.

Some issues here I need to resolve:

1 bad pixel

Focusing.

The auto iris closes to average value of the picture and not the guy walking towards the cam. The next cam we put up there will be zoomed in so the iris will adjust more effectively.

Working on it

It would really be nice if someone had access to different types of cameras vewing the same object all run to the same DVR, or a number of the same cameras to run to different DVR's. That way you could really compare and contrast image quality and record quality.

I've done some basic testing side by side. Cameras are effected by lighting, so I test cameras in various lighting. While comparing DVR cards, I haven't preffered anything over geovision.
