Cant speak for Kodicom, but as for Geo, depending on the card, you could try BtSpy and then use the BT Drivers, then you will be able to use LuxRiot. I know the GV250 works like this as I did that myself, but do not know if the other cards would. LuxRiot also sell cards BTW.

Geo V8.1.2 supports Ip cams. Is Luxriot that good of software? I can't imagine it has more features then geo.

I mentioned kodicom cause its all I have been using and i have about 20 16 port installed at one of my clients- but now I find myselfneeding to implement ip cameras- thats why I needed something like luxriot. Rory, thanks for your advise and response-

I also mentioned Geovision cause I have an old gv600 card that I am not using-

Rory, I also read your topic about the tweaks and would like to use them also-

Thanks again for you reply-501

Optionally, you could use IP Video Decoders, and then you can put that signal into the DVR as you would with a regular CCTV camera.

Im pretty sure it is only their video server, though I cant say 100%.

Also, anyone with any Geo Servers online, want to through up a camera for a demo?

I will see if I get time before I go home today if I can put up a Video server for Demo for you guys!

As for Ip cameras and 8.1.2 it is only Web Server, but GV 8.2 will support IP cameras, but you need to buy dongle for that!
