    8.3.4 Related Questions

Is the GV-2008 discontinued in support? Are you able to get it working on 8.3.4? or what is the last version it supports?

    Muxlab 500022 question

Thanks for the reply. I assume since the Mux can only support up to 30vA that I would have to run my own power wires since the Pelco camera requires up to 73vA (heater & blower)? Only thing I can use the Mux for is the control lines and video connection. Is this correct? Or do you have any other recommendation of another product that can handle it? Thanks again...
  3. Hi, I am new to this and have a quick question. I will be using a Pelco SD435-PG-E0 Dome camera. I believe it is controlled using the RS-485 connection along with a Co-Axial for the video connection. With the MuxLab 500022 and using Cat 5E cable, will it be any problems since the MuxLab 500022 references RS422 for the control lines? I will be using a GeoVision GV-2008 with the GV-Com which converts from RS485 to RS232. Thanks.
  4. Hi, does anyone know how well the Spectra IV PTZ cameras are in terms of quality and night shooting? Also, does anyone have an idea of what a good price is for the Pelco SD435-PG-EO? Thanks...
