Hi. Smart pss belongs to dahua and there is only one 3rd party company that can also use smart PSS change the the port on your cantex recorder to 34667 and see if that connects

While in Spain are you able to connect at home and away. if you are on a mobile contract your service provider might restrict your data usage while out of Spain. if you are with Telefonica you can get past that problem by buying uk data time ...it cost around €10 a month does it work on wifi in the uk (broadband service ?)

That is not a 360 camera. And if you think that cheap crap is better than IP for $100 then your wrong. table top cameras are pointless. People need to think and reaserch what they need. table top cameras can not see who comes to your door.... Can't detected any damage to cars outside......can not see if damage don't to gardens of home exterior and that table top camera for $28. What about in home privacy. Why have a camera in your home living room that footage and sound goes off to a 3rd party could be 100s of strangers watching you in your own home day and night so is $28 home security .....NO. Hi. That is the new xm range..... It is not a IP system. It is analogue HD over cat cable. You can't connect Poe standard cameras to that recorder... And you can't use them cameras on a Poe NVR. it is a throw away system if recorder goes down or if cameras start to fail. It's a proprietary system (can't connect standard IP cameras to it) you will wish you never bought it. i know CCTV products are expensive there and limited. For this day and age there is no point spending on 1mp when 3 or 4mp is the same price ....even cheaper if going 5mp analog HD. wireless has never been good and no range on 2.4. powerline are cheap and give much better distance and you get no problems with interference from anything else in or around the house hold. i have also been saying for years China p2p is not good. Having to register to use a remote app for something you own and have no control over is wasting money you could not use that camera in commercial with new GDPR or have a pro fit them. even your Amazon link was posted there are now others $15 cheaper. They will be giving them away in cereals boxs soon

What app are you using for remote view ? i took a look at there site to see which units they offer. ......I see they use pictures from this forum as there own ...so that says a lot about the company if there can't post there own. the screen shots in the manual .... Are they the same as your screen. how much did you pay for your recorder ?

For that price you can buy a 3-4mp Poe Would of been good to of seen a night time video without all the street lights. As the IR is out of range at that hight. No need to use wireless cameras as there not reliable Power lines are much better

Hi. Subnet is basically your routers IP address you just enter it into your recorders network settings. Support call would not be a problem ...... But it is also good to learn. A few years and networking is going to be common in the home. And there are some good tools around to help you. We use this one and it does everything that anyone needs to learn and do networking ... There is a free one and one with a cost. The one with a cost is the one I would go for. It checks networks it allows you into your router or recorder or IP camera direct from the app. It is also very good at protecting you with on line shopping..... It allowed you to check the web page of the seller. How long they have been trading ....who owns the website ...when it was built....and there location ..... So buying is never a waste of money in a way it protects you on line. Load it onto your apple phone or pad or android and just press scan under LAN and it gives all details of everything on there that is connected to your router. You will see your routers name click on it and it will show you the subnet of your router....... Enter that into recorder and away you go. They are low quality. And like I said in first post old tech. NVRs are limited. Which they always have been ...... But buying hik now is just wasting money. There tvi systems are too old .... Other manufactures are upto 4K analog. There NVRs have never sold well in the uk and even less now with all the hik problems. Lorex are not a OEM

The problem with the charts is there bull. Does hikvision add everything together ?? .ezviz......hi-watch..... Yes they do. See digital watchdog is on the chart........how does that work there OEM hikvision. Dahua ...... Last one year second the next..... What about ic realtime sales .....what about lorex sales.

What errors. That it’s too old ...... 4cif is old as mpeg4 About no apps ....... unit too old to of had any developed. That your wasting your money....... I thought that was helpful

Well your right there ....its 4cif. 4cif(d1) Well you must of already read in spec no longer supported. And it states in all apps MPEG4 not supported. . Mpeg4 needs software unlike the h264. Just to help you get your SIA ...... CIF can not be used in the uk anymore proprietary software also can't be used. What is a simple post to save you money (actually £75) for code reset. It would be cheaper for you to buy a 4way 960h dvr for £45. At least you would have a learning tool. But you have a long way to go if you don't know uk regulations at this stage for your licence. And listening to a SIA holder I thought would of been of help to you.

It's not true D1 and don't get yours mixed up with the h264 Serial number is when that unit was made .....not the start of when first brought out. Yours is mpeg4 and has no support at all across any apps No windows support No Apple or android support. So can't be reset over Internet it is serial

Hi. Please don't waste your time. That unit is serial reset only. And no one will do it for you as its over 15 years old and CIF only unit. You will learn nothing from that unit for your SIA licence. The recorder can't even go on the Internet. I used to work for vista in Warrington
