Hi. Can you link to ptz your bought Also are you using coax or data cable for ptz control Will your Swann run 3mp -
SW also runs out known as no longer supported. 5 years since SW was available for that unit. But it will still work with PSS and smart PSS but I would use the old PSS

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIADJR5R26929&cm_re=DS-2CD2185FWD-IS_2.8mm-_-2P0-0016-00207-_-Product The camera I received is world edition and keeps the English user interface after firmware update. The seller is not from the HikVision authorized list so my camera is not supported directly by the HikVision support team but it is not a big deal for me. The price (with 10% discount and free shipping) was worth it. It is very good for day and night videos/images. My configuration is: Resolution 3840x2160 Bitrate Max 8192 Kbps (Variable) Frame Rate 20 fps I-Frame Interval 10 Video Encoding H.265+ Not a good idea to buy a hik copy you will have problems and waste money

Hi. What is your budget ........ Your request is reliable and quality and you will get none of that with what you have requested you want. Wireless is never good and un reliable........ SD card only .......do you go on holiday of spend more than two days away from home ? Motion to set off ....... Always best with pre record otherwise as soon as someone is detected by the time recording starts it has mist what triggered the motion. Wireless sounds best but has problems ...... IP cameras can also be run over power plugs ..... Meaning no cables to run and help when installing were feeding cables to is a problem. Also 2 cameras you will alway have two blank images as most show is 4 image format so you might think of 4 being you amount. This is the cheapest system but loaded with everything needed. https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-ip-security-camera-system/4-channel-hd-security-camera-system-with-ip-cameras/HDIP44D-1-p

Hi. T connectors never work to distribute CCTV signal. How is the image on the mini screen if you go direct from camera ? But what you need is a 1 in 2 out distribution box at camera end. They are cheap and the right way to go

For $40 or $50 ..... you can imagine the job you would get. ...... there will be duck tape everywhere....... that’s $10 each camera if 4way and only $5 for an 8 way. And at that price the contractor will not have insurance in place. 1000s of people install there own system with no experience and do i good job -
Hi. What type of environment is the camera in ....... Looks like a warehouse It's looks like dust in the air.
-
TVT is just wasting money
-
Ok buy the £29 one ....... remember it’s only 26 gauge ...... and when you find out it’s too small for Poe then spend more to replace Is it going to be wasted ...... most people who buy cctv add to there system ..... you have an 8 way with only 3 cameras ...even just the 3 cams will annoy you ...... always looking at screen with 3 active cameras and 1 blank Anyway buy copper and don’t go any higher than 24 gauge
-
Hi. It’s clear you don’t know about cat cable ..... we use everyday. Yes you can keep looking on eBay and the likes but you will get cheap aluminium coated crap Screwfix ... prices very from low to high but your not looking at size or if rated The toolstation link is the best and cheapest you will find in the uk for full copper 24 I don’t see why you come on the forum and ask for help and still try to cut corners with wrong cable
-
Hi. No that is not good 100m of cat6 for £40 only says cheap junk. I guess that is from some internet store ..... they don’t apply to uk regulations on cat cable .... plus 26 is too small Cat5 will do everything you need and best place is toolstation. https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p72918?table=no
