www.orangesecurity.com I'll start off with your website ..... So as thread is picked up by Google. Typical salesman ...... Ok I should of said useful information..... You are so full of crap. It looks like a AC unit ...... Must be the overpriced cheap camera. Identifying the person ..... The distance in your picture is easy to identify a face even with the wide lens with the right camera choice. YOU have just posted this. So your so called useful information is just face at gate........ Yet not seeing vandalism on AC ........ So your useful information is useless if camera did not see the crime. The moral is use better cameras collect as much info as possible .. You telling And selling to your customers zoomed in is better than all down full side of house is wrong and waste of money ...... Any CCTV owner would like full view down house. I see you sell TVT tvi cameras and recorders. Try out some 3 or 4mp IP of cvi. Much better

Orange security ..... will only try and sell you tvi Over priced salesman
-
So this image is better than the full image. And your saying this image is pointless ? What protects the windows and AC unit ? CCTV is information collecting .....the more information it holds the better the evidence
-
See sales crap. No such thing as wasted pixels........so changing lenses alters pixels? As far as over priced ..... hik new tvi with vf $80 When you joined you got a page that says no self promoting company or keep posting links.

Set up camera's streaming settings?
tomcctv replied to alex06370's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
You are making all this hard. Who will own the hotspots...... there is a reason why I am asking this And I also have a good idea on what you are trying to setup -
Hi bigger amps will do nothing If you have a 2amp cam it will only pull 2amp In you cable kits ... power side ..... the cables are not thick enough to power your camera over that distance Which is why I posted the link to cable that will (only power side And the power supply link was only for one better than yours But looking at specs ..... don't expect 120ft IR from that camera ... more like 60ft

Set up camera's streaming settings?
tomcctv replied to alex06370's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Can I ask ........ What is the whole idea of this ?? Your talking hotspots ??? If landlords why not use the network and stay away from wifi. -
Hi. The cable kits are useless for CCTV .........they don't work at short distance never mind the distance you need. The power side of the cable is too small to carry your power. And just changing the power supply will not help. Buy something like this and use red and yellow for + and black and green for - power https://www.amazon.com/Security-Burglar-Alarm-Cable-Speaker/dp/B00CHPVC4Y/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1496095019&sr=1-6&keywords=Alarm+cable Also use a better power supply. https://www.amazon.com/HDView-Certified-Transformer-Security-110-240V/dp/B019X48KK0/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1496095305&sr=1-4&keywords=12v+5amp+power+supply

Unpaid for system - Diable ideas
tomcctv replied to Norwich Dave's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. Small claim is only £25 and usually the court letter is enough to make them pay. £100 plus £25 costs And since you hold the paperwork from eBay for the recorder It should not be a problem -

Stand alone, internal memory, programmable outdoor camera
tomcctv replied to videobruce's topic in Security Cameras
There is no point even making a tvi sd cam Tvi is only the format And needs the dvr to do the decoding If dvr is not needed and a camera with sd card is all that is needed..... then why need cam to be tvi Using IP with sd is what you need
