Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
tomcctv replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Dahua would not come to your house But ..... I still say you have not done the last twist you have drilled 3 holes to avoid doing that. Yes your camera looks right now installed and IR are level. But without the tight final twist. Keep an eye on your camera for water getting in First twist is so as can remove adjust cam and mount again and IR don't line up. But once happy you push camera hard to wall and twist another 10 MM. this locks the cam and levels the IR and also which yours can not do as you have re drilled ......... The last 10m locks cam also presses cam back plate to black gasket and pushes the gasket to the wall mounting plate making it all water tight. If you go to your camera now ..... Push it hard against the wall and twist it will turn another 10mm ....... But it will put your IR out of line. Because of your new holes. Plus if you have installed up a ladder that is hard to do . But I would use a little silicon over the the camera to back box join -

And like I keep telling you even now you have it ln line (because of your new holes) IT IS STILL NOT IN THE LOCK POSITION . Look hard at your drawing ........ The lugs ARE NOT IN THE STOP position they are only half way ..... WHich is exactly the same distance of your new holes. It's your problem not a dahua problem ...... Also you have not fitted the 3rd lug ... Your picture only shows 2 -

Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
tomcctv replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Have a think ....... This is your first at installing this camera You had to drill 3 new holes so as you could twist camera to the right ......But what you have also done is move the locking pins Look at this picture . I can guarantee you have not twisted and locked your camera right .... If you had left as it was and twisted camera the pushed camera into wall and twisted another 10mm to lock .... Then you would of had no need to of drilled new holes But your the only guy to have this problem .... -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
tomcctv replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
No I have never had the problem ..... And I have installed 6 ..... Also if you google the problem ..... It only shows that you have the problem Plus by drilling new holes you would of moved the stop point of the back plate The lug on the back of the camer MUST always be at top when locked ..... Yours now can't do that if you have drilled new mounting plate holes -

tomcctv replied to Billy_ICU's topic in General Digital Discussion
I was going to guess your installer supplied your ddns. Because your problems might be just that. Forget about the securitycamking stuff your reading ... That is not your problem. Who owns your ddns account ..... You or your installer ??? Also do you use the ddns account to connect all the time with all your devices at home and away ? -

tomcctv replied to Billy_ICU's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. I read your other post and I don't think you were hacked. Who did the DNS setup who did your port forwarding Your installer should know basic port forwarding .... Yet everyone I go to or see on here people port forward port 80 ..... To recorders which is not needed. -
Remote Backup of DVR Video
tomcctv replied to keefe007's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Registered User Joined: Nov 2016 Posts: 1 Online My company worked the last year to build a DVR BACKUP by ftp and the project is entering in the market now. We worked on the idea to left a stand alone DVR in the controlled location and to transfer high quality images each 2 seconds approx (depends from DVR channels and internet connection). This system permit to the customer to have his own system and a quality backup. We use standard connection without warranted bandwidth and without hard impact on our customers internet connection. The high numbers of pictures/customers/day (up to 400.000) 24h/24h has been a hard work to find a way to monitor the system by customers. The archived images day number can be personalized, an alarm mail to the customers can be set when the DVR not send images, the stop to auto delete the images is activated when the DVR not send them. We use dedicated server with high performance and we have a competitive price. Actually we use dahua DVR but the system is compatible with all DVR that can send pictures by ftp. Contact us for a collaboration. You only need to post your crap once Why would people want to pay you storage ...... You might just have a server setup in your bedroom and charging people for a service that is not needed -

Hi. The axis is still a large 4inch dome ...... Some turret cameras are smaller For home use and the price you are looking at take a look at the small avigilon .... Less than half of calling space of the axis Also when people use in calling mounts it's a big hole .... If you can't match the camera in a few years after fail then it's more work to fill the hole. Also as there inside your home avigilon is more secure .... Hik and other domestic systems have p2p or cloud which is not good for home privacy These come in 1 or 2mp
