    Faceter camera app discussion/help

You talk rubbish first your not in Russia…… as in your other posts ……. Now you are …….. would you like me to post Russian registered company register on here for you as well how do you decentralise bank details ? Which all your customers need to give you if recording for more than 12 hours anything stored over 12hrs customers need to pay you for there own footage back YOUR WEBSITE …….. no contact details …… no address ……. No phone numbers ……… and you think it’s safe to give you bank details faceter is unsafe…….. it has already taken money from customers and the service failed (in App Store complaints) Using old mobile phone as security camera does not work and your monthly charge is ridiculous ……… money better spent on ring door bell or a 1 or 2 camera system and not be controlled by a 3rd party in Russia YOU MUST BE THE WORLDS WORST SPAMMER TO KEEP COMING BACK

    Analogue CCTV upgrade

Hi. No you can’t use that format of cameras in your other post it was explained why your pc based system is a standard analog D1 recording with 720tvl cameras if you want to keep your existing cables and power supply. Then you need to change your pc for a dvr ……… you can still use your existing cameras on a 5 in 1 HD 4K dvr and swap out the cameras later when you need to
  4. Hi. It’s not the cameras you need to change geo card of that type are only D1 recording you need to change from card pc setup to using a dvr
  5. Hi it’s nothing to do with software ….. yes you can protect the software with a password but you also need the password that is already on the camera to add it…… or factory reset camera
  6. Hi sounds like your using a secondhand camera that has already been registered 152 is wrong username

Trust me it’s not an attack ITS THE TRUTH anyone reading this post I welcome them to look at the app review especially on App Store dose not work even after payment also your website……….PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN THE BASICS website with no contact details or phone number or location ARE BEST NOT DEALING WITH as there is no come back asking for bank details (which people need to do to use your service) need to know bank details are going to Russia….. yet says nothing on your website about that HOW can I be a hater of mobile surveillance but you have just admitted to MOBILE SURVEILLANCE SO people use your app on a old mobile device enabling video and audio to use as security yet data ……. Video and audio stored on Russian server 24/7 by a stranger and have to pay you for loosing there own privacy ITS NOT HATE …… ITS PROTECTING PEOPLE AGAINST A COMPANY THEY CANT TRACE THEMSELFS just let me check Faceter iP again ……………. Domain Name: FACETER.CAM Registry Domain ID: D99889239-CNIC Updated Date: 2022-03-01T21:08:56.0Z Creation Date: 2019-04-13T09:28:43.0Z Registry Expiry Date: 2023-04-13T23:59:59.0Z Registrant State/Province: Orenburg Registrant Country: RU well still same report some App Store posts 1 Camera went offline. Being on holiday, I can't fix it and the whole reason for having it is to be able to monitor the home. Hence the 1 star rating. Cannot find anyway to delete this app which sets alarm bells ringing - downloaded by accident. so nothing above is written by me there copy and past both from a government iP check and App Store

  10. There are a few in Oxford area in your earlier post you talked about a good electrician you use so going iP will be a simple install for him as it’s all plug and play the reason for asking your budget is for type of equipment mainly the cameras as they come in resolution sizes 2-3-6- and 8mp … 8 megapixel being 4K also you can go with cheap Amazon or eBay systems and pay well over what there worth with no support giving a budget can help you
  11. Ok sorry thought I could help nearly 38 years in cctv and knowing the good and the bad would of been help to you good luck on your hunt
  12. Hi. 10 nvrs let’s say 8 cams each from 10 different locations to be monitored by only 1pc with 6 graphics cards 6 monitors for both playback and live viewing……… is your first downfall Lorex is more a domestic system you need something which has emap and there is a lot of systems out with that function can you give more details on type of install amount of cameras at each location is this application commercial or domestic and budget for all the system and we’re your located

Hi yes you can. Will you be recording as well or just viewing Any type of cctv camera will run on network cable without having to run mains power
  15. Hi. DOCSIS is not needed in your case keep in mind iP cameras and HD analog (run over coax) give the same performance using geo 10 years old ….. are you on a pc with cards ? new equipment you should be looking for is called a 5 in 1 dvr and I would install that first with your existing cameras. And then start replacing cameras for HD as and when

  18. Hi you are best going 4 way having a camera pointing from car park area to bungalow across service road will only give you images of the backs of people entering your property adding two to your bungalow covering front door area (with audio) give you face images as well
  19. Yes you can run direct burial cat5 in 20mm plastic conduit…… so 25mm wide and 300mm deep the cat5 will run your cameras as they should be Poe iP cameras (power is run in the cat5 ……..but no mains power can be used how many cameras are you going to be using
  20. Hi in Oxford You still need planning permission this is because you will be running cables across DNO network but the way around this is phone cable from pole to pole ….. this allows you to power and run cameras on 1 cat5 (like phone cable) this will also but your camera at a good hight from being messed with …. I cat5 you can run 4 cameras what is your budget
  21. Hi …. I was down there the other week got customers in wootton Bassett laying cables outside of your property is illegal in the uk … same as putting cameras on a utility pole ….. I know of a company that did that and had a cost of £9k why do you want some cameras off your property ?
  22. Hi most cameras are discreet but if your looking at very small this type of camera is known as covert and can give you problems wireless is not a good idea …. With having to use proprietary equipment (cameras from only that manufacture) are usually expensive and only have a short life span meaning you have to spend again….. you also still need to get power to camera location …… or go with camera with battery…… but this means charging or replacing battery every few days which also makes the system useless if you go away for a few days or holiday which country are you in

    I-APOHDRTIO-4BB help for password reset

Hi yes it’s possible can you post a picture of the menu screen also showing time and date were are you located
  24. Hi it is possible with using a video transmitter and receiver…… you would still need power at camera end but it would be a waste of money and expensive……. It would be cheaper to change your dvr your DVR is only CIF recording which is the lowest and in most cases now can’t be used as recording quality is too low. for a 2010 recorder it’s time to change and buy a 5 in 1 dvr …… it gives you much more options even adding wireless iP along with your existing cameras
