  1. Hi …. I was down there the other week got customers in wootton Bassett laying cables outside of your property is illegal in the uk … same as putting cameras on a utility pole ….. I know of a company that did that and had a cost of £9k why do you want some cameras off your property ?
  2. Hi most cameras are discreet but if your looking at very small this type of camera is known as covert and can give you problems wireless is not a good idea …. With having to use proprietary equipment (cameras from only that manufacture) are usually expensive and only have a short life span meaning you have to spend again….. you also still need to get power to camera location …… or go with camera with battery…… but this means charging or replacing battery every few days which also makes the system useless if you go away for a few days or holiday which country are you in

    I-APOHDRTIO-4BB help for password reset

Hi yes it’s possible can you post a picture of the menu screen also showing time and date were are you located
  4. Hi it is possible with using a video transmitter and receiver…… you would still need power at camera end but it would be a waste of money and expensive……. It would be cheaper to change your dvr your DVR is only CIF recording which is the lowest and in most cases now can’t be used as recording quality is too low. for a 2010 recorder it’s time to change and buy a 5 in 1 dvr …… it gives you much more options even adding wireless iP along with your existing cameras

  6. Hi. This is the problem with hikvision (bad specs) the 4 channel will not do 5mp the 8 channel is a MAX 5mp in total. So one camera will take dvr to its max is there a reason for going iP instead of analog HD is this home or business use

Updating to PIR cameras on a Swann Dvr8 4575

Hi you have two types on motion on that dvr motion and alarm motion if alarm motion was set before it will only follow those settings ….. you will have to change settings from old camera to your new one but there is no handshake it is just a ahd camera

Updating to PIR cameras on a Swann Dvr8 4575

Hi am already confused….. which USB are you talking about ? pir setting can only be set via motion setup also have you upgraded your power supply as pir cameras need more power
  10. Hi. It is unusual for a system these days not to have snap shot function. which system and cameras are you using ? but there is some very cost effective ways to achieve what your looking for
  11. Hi. That’s nearly 15 years old ….. and to be honest not worth the time …. It has no support and licence will have ran out plus if it came without cameras ….. you will have a big cost trying to buy SDI cameras as the industry stopped using SDI years ago and no other camera will run on the 224 if buying cameras you will find it a lot cheaper to buy a standard HD system with cameras than just buying SDI

Updating to PIR cameras on a Swann Dvr8 4575

Hi. That camera was not a good sale for Swann can pick them up for $20 now but in your case you have said nothing on setting up the pir sensor yes the cameras are plug and play for 4575 but then you need to go into dvr menu and set the camera up under motion control (IR only works on sensor) so a motion area needs to be setup
  13. Hi. The EV-4016Turbo-D will only take 4mp lite so no point going 4mp the EV-4016Turbo-D is a rebrand hikvision with an extra $100 put on top 4mp lite is confusing but that’s hikvision for you I would not bother with 4mp with that dvr and just go 3mp it will help your DVRs stability if your running 8 and over cameras
  14. Hi this is the one for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ezviz&hl=en_GB&gl=US

    Video surveillance using smartphone

This was the start of the post it’s a waste of time and money money better spent on installing cctv and have no 3rd party involvement or cost a old mobile / cell phone does not make a good cctv camera …… useless at night without IR my problem is getting old unused cell phone out of the draw sticking it to window with blue tack……. And they have to pay you for it. Which in most cases the footage is useless but both apple and android have motion detection apps for free

  19. Hi you would be better not using ivms5200 and going with hikvision other app and pc software it is called ezviz. Available on all platforms this is the best app for the age of your systems
  20. Hi there is a number of ways you can do this without having to go with a cloud storage account and monthly costs. first is your using a nvr ….. buy the same nvr that you already have and hide that in a location in your home ….. two recording devices second is something we have used for years is to buy a western digital cloud box and ftp all motion files direct to that …… again hide in home or from a remote location it’s a small cost for the western digital but you can also use it to store your music and video and also pictures from your mobile

Domain Name: FACETER.CAM Registry Domain ID: D99889239-CNIC Registrant State/Province: Orenburg Registrant Country: RU Registry Expiry Date: 2023-04-13T23:59:59.0Z it might be something for you to look at then direct from trace …. Your web name your web id Orenburg is a state in Russia registry country RU …. Which is short for Russian Am not saying this to start an argument….. it’s just no website with company address on I always check. it might be something YOU need to look into but as of today your domain is in Russia and has been since 2019 It was only two posts back you said you don’t collect data ?
  23. Hi. I have come across this unit before and you should not expect much from a $70 system as far as the Wi-Fi range ……this has nothing to do with your company network its wireless cam to wireless base (nvr) it’s not using your network and for the cost of the unit I would either return it or look for a better solution and not spend any more on the imou
  24. Hi can you post a menu picture ony-x are only supplier’s so need to know make

    Video surveillance using smartphone

Nothing paranoid……… it does not bother me at all All I am doing is educating members now you have listed twice it’s free …… no mention of monthly fee ……… and it does have a fee ……. Cost is how much data you hold THATS on your website now about the tokens …… no I am not mistaken it is also on your website and other associated with faceter “FACETER's computer-vision surveillance technology is powered by a fog network of cryptocurrency miners.” it’s not good having 3 people on the forum all pushing the product within 4 days of each other it’s a bad form of spamming so back to your costs and collection …… a mobile phone does not make a good security camera ……….. but I do love the part on your website ….. shop owners can place a mobile phone on a shelf and record customers and staff to protect there business ……… IT will be stolen in a few hours in most stores it people want a simple camera then there best looking at the likes of ring or dlink or hive and be in control of there own system and not pay a 3rd party
