Advise on hikvision ptz-n2204i/PTZ-n2404i with a dvr-208g
tomcctv replied to Avinitlarge's topic in HD Analog
Hi. This is the problem with hikvision (bad specs) the 4 channel will not do 5mp the 8 channel is a MAX 5mp in total. So one camera will take dvr to its max is there a reason for going iP instead of analog HD is this home or business use -
Hi can you post a picture of the back of your unit it sounds like you already have a nvr recorder do your existing cameras plug in with rj45 plugs or bnc type ?
-
Hi you have two types on motion on that dvr motion and alarm motion if alarm motion was set before it will only follow those settings ….. you will have to change settings from old camera to your new one but there is no handshake it is just a ahd camera
-
Hi am already confused….. which USB are you talking about ? pir setting can only be set via motion setup also have you upgraded your power supply as pir cameras need more power

How can i reset passwort..avtechavs224
tomcctv replied to tutu2004's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. That’s nearly 15 years old ….. and to be honest not worth the time …. It has no support and licence will have ran out plus if it came without cameras ….. you will have a big cost trying to buy SDI cameras as the industry stopped using SDI years ago and no other camera will run on the 224 if buying cameras you will find it a lot cheaper to buy a standard HD system with cameras than just buying SDI -
Hi. That camera was not a good sale for Swann can pick them up for $20 now but in your case you have said nothing on setting up the pir sensor yes the cameras are plug and play for 4575 but then you need to go into dvr menu and set the camera up under motion control (IR only works on sensor) so a motion area needs to be setup

4MP Lite vs. 1080p? Is 4MP lite something new?
tomcctv replied to portolan's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. The EV-4016Turbo-D will only take 4mp lite so no point going 4mp the EV-4016Turbo-D is a rebrand hikvision with an extra $100 put on top 4mp lite is confusing but that’s hikvision for you I would not bother with 4mp with that dvr and just go 3mp it will help your DVRs stability if your running 8 and over cameras -

What has amazon got to do with own archive (own archive would be sd) on mobile just done another check on policy you said in earlier post no information stored yet you forgot to mention credit card details are kept THIS INFO IS ON YOUR RUSSIAN WEBSITE the one you say you don’t have
-
This was the start of the post it’s a waste of time and money money better spent on installing cctv and have no 3rd party involvement or cost a old mobile / cell phone does not make a good cctv camera …… useless at night without IR my problem is getting old unused cell phone out of the draw sticking it to window with blue tack……. And they have to pay you for it. Which in most cases the footage is useless but both apple and android have motion detection apps for free
-
Hi. It is not that simple with that system on setup it would of asked you for email and password remember question if you don’t have that then the only other way is for you to pm a picture of your login screen is this home use or business? we’re are you located

NVR with auto event upload to the cloud?
tomcctv replied to Arizona1953's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi there is a number of ways you can do this without having to go with a cloud storage account and monthly costs. first is your using a nvr ….. buy the same nvr that you already have and hide that in a location in your home ….. two recording devices second is something we have used for years is to buy a western digital cloud box and ftp all motion files direct to that …… again hide in home or from a remote location it’s a small cost for the western digital but you can also use it to store your music and video and also pictures from your mobile -

Question about WIFI IP cam and NVR and a lil bit networking
tomcctv replied to Eastwood901's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. I have come across this unit before and you should not expect much from a $70 system as far as the Wi-Fi range ……this has nothing to do with your company network its wireless cam to wireless base (nvr) it’s not using your network and for the cost of the unit I would either return it or look for a better solution and not spend any more on the imou- 1 reply

Hi can you post a menu picture ony-x are only supplier’s so need to know make -
Nothing paranoid……… it does not bother me at all All I am doing is educating members now you have listed twice it’s free …… no mention of monthly fee ……… and it does have a fee ……. Cost is how much data you hold THATS on your website now about the tokens …… no I am not mistaken it is also on your website and other associated with faceter “FACETER's computer-vision surveillance technology is powered by a fog network of cryptocurrency miners.” it’s not good having 3 people on the forum all pushing the product within 4 days of each other it’s a bad form of spamming so back to your costs and collection …… a mobile phone does not make a good security camera ……….. but I do love the part on your website ….. shop owners can place a mobile phone on a shelf and record customers and staff to protect there business ……… IT will be stolen in a few hours in most stores it people want a simple camera then there best looking at the likes of ring or dlink or hive and be in control of there own system and not pay a 3rd party
-
More crap …….. which means you collect the video and audio ……. Audio should be a option but it’s not and storage needed ….. that in its self tells you your storing footage with audio can you confirm your Russian based? your not the first over the years to try and use old mobile devices as a camera system the fact is it does not work your slightly different as you store the footage let us know what the cost is to get it back from you ……. Yes you list tokens …… which is more crap Both apple and android have there own security app with links to drop box without going to a Russian server and more secure and no costs
-
Yes your the second with same IP address WHO said anything about steal ……. I said collect information the link above was typed by your company and direct from your company terms and conditions so who is wrong….. you or your terms

QT-5140 DVR doesn't go to sequential imaging on monitor
tomcctv replied to Martgab83's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi. Changing from tv mode to vga is a bit confusing how is your monitor setup …. Are you connected vga only and your switch from dvr menu …. Or did you have composite tv out used to tv i take it this is a old analog system QT is a qsee part number does your unit have vga and hdmi outputs on the back qsee also used the term tv output …. But is infact spot monitor -
I edited this post after doing a IP check 2hrs later 104.248.245.10 Faceter Is a data collection owned by a Russian company ….. started 2019 based in Orenburg so not worth using a mobile as camera

Hi direct from there website To access and use the Website, participate in Faceter token sale event and for other purposes that will be mentioned further in this Policy we may process and/or collect the following Personal Data (by the way of example): First and last name; Email address; Address; Date of birth; ID, residency and source of funds verification documents (e.g. copies of a passport/ID card and utility bills) and data contained in such documents (e.g. home or another physical address, phone/mobile number, gender). so you only want to watch your car yet let a 3rd party know everything about you giving out data to some company you don’t know is and always will be a security risk using old mobile phones with free 3rd party software always has a problem ……….. nothing in this world is for free………….. in this case it’s data collection to sell on that’s how they make money from you using free software much better to buy a budget 1 camera HD system nvr …….. months of free storage and it’s yours without a 3rd party
