Dantech poe unit, Battery back up

We use these … link below problem using separate supplies one Poe for cameras and one to power nvr or pc …. It can take a long time for startup plus nothing for router for alerts these are good …. Just plug Poe nvr into it …. Less to fail plus you can power your router https://1va.co.uk/entry-level-ups-systems-c-1.html?ceid=f446905c28def4ea070ec45e2720af20

    Night Time Flicker Issue

Hi. First I would check the power supply what type do you have and what amp also type of cable used
  12. Hi. Your first problem is ….. you need to forget anything you did in the past you have a new nvr …. That should play your files without converting…. So you must be also downloading your files wrong what make is your nvr and also what app does it use
  13. Ok how did you change your pc IP address ?
  14. Ok. So you have more than one camera and connected to a nvr. this goes back to using the local iP of the camera ….. and it is not 192.168.1.251 this is assigned because all your cameras have the same settings under 192.168.0.1 you need to alter each camera and give them different IP address the only way of doing this is remove all cameras from nvr and connect them to a pc off your local network …. Your pc needs to be matching the iP cameras IP address 192.168.0.x and not 192.168.1.x or you can’t alter settings or use a net analyzer To alter your cameras
  15. Ok I think your looking at everything wrong yes your camera has a static iP (local) it needs that to work are you looking for viewing remotely? this will involve you setting up port forwarding with your cameras static IP
  16. Hi how far did you get before taking camera apart ? your link to iP config has nothing to do with it how far did you get with the local network connection

Best 4g sim for indoor cctv use

Hi. If you can send it back then I would cheap P2P cameras do get switched off by your service provider as it’s always sending data to China server so that’s classed as unfair usage there are uk based cameras £10 a month pay as you go unlimited data but it depends on your budget
  19. Hi. There is none for a 2015 dvr your units hardware will not support newer software your unit is h264 and cvi only

Make My own Power supply box for camera system

Hi no it is not possible…. Passive sensors and magnetic sensors require very little power to run ….. usually between 1.5 to 2 amp cctv cameras start at 1amp each ……. Yes there spec says 0.5millamp for cameras but always best working at 1amp each camera to allow for spike when IR and filter change at night cctv power supplies are not expensive and made for the job

    convert bnc camera to ethernet

Hi it is much easier to change your existing dvr with more inputs or add another dvr the same make you all ready have …. You can add them both to same app and cms software converting analog to IP then using a pc and software will cost over 100 ….. 5 mp iP is less than that
