tomcctv replied to DIDITMYSELF's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi 568a is not normal B is the standard so you now have 1 end A and other B so can’t transmit both ends should be T-568-B -
Hi for only 15m I would just run a 0.75 cable as well for power your link only uses 1 pair for power which can give you problems
-
We use these … link below problem using separate supplies one Poe for cameras and one to power nvr or pc …. It can take a long time for startup plus nothing for router for alerts these are good …. Just plug Poe nvr into it …. Less to fail plus you can power your router https://1va.co.uk/entry-level-ups-systems-c-1.html?ceid=f446905c28def4ea070ec45e2720af20
-
Ok so why not just backup nvr ? If it is Poe
-
We have moved on since the 90s why would anyone connect to your service not knowing who is watching
-
Hi. It depends on your other equipment if it’s worth it battery Poe backup is ok but only if rest of equipment is protected no point cameras on and recording not are you running pc or nvr
-
Hi. First I would check the power supply what type do you have and what amp also type of cable used

tomcctv replied to guidecca's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Your first problem is ….. you need to forget anything you did in the past you have a new nvr …. That should play your files without converting…. So you must be also downloading your files wrong what make is your nvr and also what app does it use -

Impossible factory reset POE camera
tomcctv replied to Giovanni77's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Ok. So you have more than one camera and connected to a nvr. this goes back to using the local iP of the camera ….. and it is not 192.168.1.251 this is assigned because all your cameras have the same settings under 192.168.0.1 you need to alter each camera and give them different IP address the only way of doing this is remove all cameras from nvr and connect them to a pc off your local network …. Your pc needs to be matching the iP cameras IP address 192.168.0.x and not 192.168.1.x or you can’t alter settings or use a net analyzer To alter your cameras -
Impossible factory reset POE camera
tomcctv replied to Giovanni77's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Ok I think your looking at everything wrong yes your camera has a static iP (local) it needs that to work are you looking for viewing remotely? this will involve you setting up port forwarding with your cameras static IP -
Impossible factory reset POE camera

Hi how far did you get before taking camera apart ? your link to iP config has nothing to do with it how far did you get with the local network connection -
Hi can you post which camera from uk …. send it to pm and if it’s compatible then I will let you know of data £15 for 3 months were are you located
-
Hi. If you can send it back then I would cheap P2P cameras do get switched off by your service provider as it’s always sending data to China server so that’s classed as unfair usage there are uk based cameras £10 a month pay as you go unlimited data but it depends on your budget

Hi no it is not possible…. Passive sensors and magnetic sensors require very little power to run ….. usually between 1.5 to 2 amp cctv cameras start at 1amp each ……. Yes there spec says 0.5millamp for cameras but always best working at 1amp each camera to allow for spike when IR and filter change at night cctv power supplies are not expensive and made for the job
-
Ok. …. As you can see I have given 100s of passwords out but public space and managed … I would need more information anyone could be asking for password that is not supposed to have any access you can pm me your company info with number and then I can help are you based in bury ?
-
Hi it is much easier to change your existing dvr with more inputs or add another dvr the same make you all ready have …. You can add them both to same app and cms software converting analog to IP then using a pc and software will cost over 100 ….. 5 mp iP is less than that
-
Hi it depends on your location ….. it is still on the store but removed in some countries as it gets banned Lview and Rview app is also still available but will end up the same I would also suggest you unplug your dvr network cable as your still sending data to there server
-
Hi could be a number of things if your camera is connected to a nvr then it can’t be reached by external network to register or you have bought secondhand and already registered or you have bought a clone camera that they don’t support
-
Hi. What is it you want to do ? can you run cat5 for analog cameras ….. yes can you convert bnc camera to iP ……. Yes but a very expensive option
-
Hi Mike usually yes …. But your picture shows it’s a public space system in uk a manager is responsible for the system does he or she not have the password ? where are you located
-
Hi don’t get into the trap of buying this overpriced junk when I say overpriced ….. people need to be made aware there paying more for a toy camera than a pro iP camera and you want to buy another one ….. puts you at same price for nvr with two HD cameras any think like these cameras are not good out of shanzen city that run on China server
-
This has to be a joke ???? his name is Alan at bbv and he still trades but your asking for a certificate of conformity for something you have which is secondhand so you want him to take responsibility for something he has not seen in years and you might of found in a skip now the reason I say that is ….. it’s analog only ……. No one uses standard analog anymore and have not for years so I know your not in the industry
