  1. No your baluns are not installed right the dahua long distance hence 24v with 12v output no need for that type of balun so cut off rj45 for that one camera makes it easier to run standard baluns
  2. Ok …. So that balun is not needed it’s a balun and inverter and your no we’re near 300 to be using them if you only on 12V then I would swap out that balun for a standard HD balun and chop off your rj45 plugs
  3. Hi. Even your old Swann was not connected right surprised it worked it’s going to be much easier to use a switch 1cat5 4 cameras
  4. Ok so your baluns are on 24v 0.15 0.16 is too low unless you did test under load what size is your power supply
  5. Ok but you still have a problem so if you need help it’s better to just answer the questions ….. we can’t see your system so questions are important
  6. Hi can be a number of things type of balun how many pairs for balun how many pairs for power cable length 13v is fine but it’s amps you need to be looking at

    Video Loss - HELP

Hi. If this has started to happen since you swapped the first bad camera then I would now look at the BNC connector …… as a bad BNC connector gives the same symptoms twist on BNC are very unreliable at the best of times crimp on are supposed to be used on that cable but needs the right tools for crimping i would have a look at redoing your bnc twist on and see how that goes

    Video Loss - HELP

Hi the easiest way to test a camera is take it down and swap it with one you know is working fuse …… if you think the fuse is loose then remove the red and black wire and insert them into the bottom channel

    Video Loss - HELP

I would remove the top fuse and replace it with the bottom one …. Your pic shows bottom channel not being used

    Video Loss - HELP

Hi first looking at your pictures channel 1 in power supply is showing fuse has blown and your bnc connection is a old type screw on ….. not good on that cable … so I would either cut the cable and redo it
  13. Hi. It depends on your iP camera setup …. Are your cameras on a Poe switch or Poe via nvr also when you say record in 4K do you have 4K cameras

Neighbours camera pointing into our property

Hi. This all depends on which country you are in ….. laws are different all over the world
  16. This guy monitors capital hill why would he need to spam with that contact
  17. Wow what a lier you have got to be the most stupidest spammer ever client list you claim to be main monitoring for CAPITAL HILL And VISA AND MASTER card so you monitor the United States of America capital hill camera system let’s look at your IP address Updated Date: 2020-06-18T02:01:44Z Creation Date: 2018-01-25T18:23:13Z Registry Expiry Date: 2023-01-25T18:23:13Z well for a company with a million cameras out in the field in only 2 years now let’s do a IP address location 13.71.68.10 ……. India Level 9th 10th Floor, Nallurahalli, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066, Karnataka, India India looks after CAPITAL HILL SECURITY ???
  18. You might want to use it ……. But it’s not compatible with your none hikvision ptz using the wrong protocol will give symptoms just like you have explained and in some cases not work at all Ok then let’s put your problem another way a protocol is like a driver in a computer component install a printer ……. It installs the drive (software) webcam ….. it installs the drive (software) so let’s call the driver …… PROTOCOL your using a Epson printer …. Works good does everything……. But then plug in a HP printer but keep it on the Epson driver (protocol) …….. when it prints all you get is a load of letters and symbols this is because it’s on the wrong driver (protocol) Well there are two questions you still won’t answer after me asking them 3 times what are the settings on the zoom camera …..as this also uses a protocol also what is the address of each camera which I asked in my second post but you seem to think has nothing to do with it protocol has to be sent somewhere either 485 or coax ……. TX -RX ( you being an engineer) tx = transmit. Rx = receive so if you have two cameras on same address this could also be your problem ptz camera and a zoom only camera Press up to mover ptz up should work but if zoom camera gets the command first it won’t send handshake back …….. because it has no up command ….. basically it’s confused so yes address is just as important the other question I asked a few time was how are you getting into camera menu if you don’t know just say and I’ll give you the command code and at no time did I call you twit
  19. Yes it matters a lot …….. it’s speed of data so when you say sometimes moves and stops this is a pointless post twice asked for your other cameras setting Your back to hikvision own protocol yet your not using a hikvision So what if you was on another dvr not hik what settings would you use ? And how how are you getting into camera menu

    Hikvision ColorVu camera problem

Hi how is your camera powered and what size supply
  22. Ok target ID is also called address protocol needs to be taken off auto and pelco p baud rate is fine at 24. you also need to find this info out on your zoom camera
  23. Hi … since you don’t have to bury the cable it is still uv protected ……. If you did bury it still needs to come up to camera location i did say in first post it’s used wildly because it’s tough and stands up to all applications Quick fit rj45…… been out a few years I would not use them for outdoor use … for basic diyer with no network tools you can look back over the forum …..lorex rj45 plugs are troublesome…… condensation tends to be the problem and your rj45 link is just another way to get a short with conductors exposed at each end $120 just for shipping of cable But ok to use easy rj45 also a warning with using those connectors some switches have a steel plate on the inside were you insert plug at the back ….. not a problem with standard rj45 …… can also happen on some testers
  24. infact coaxitrom was a protocol in its own right even before hikvision was in business modern day data up coax is now standard protocol…. Pelco D or P and even generic protocol if supported by the camera you can check the commands via the tvi menu
