AVer IWH5000 Series - software CD

But you can create a reboot usb from your system. the part I am not understanding is you saying start the system afresh. .... there is nothing to start fresh ..... it’s windows based with the software on the hard drive for the recorder (marked as master) on the hard drive. Software is not the same across the board 4-8-16-32-64 camera channels and also regional PAL or NTCS ... that makes 7 disks Well it does not matter to me ......it’s just the easiest way to change passwords

AVer IWH5000 Series - software CD

Hi. Yes I understand they were expensive I used to sell them. they stopped production 2012 of your unit and the rest of there security products and production 2013. your system is windows based (embedded ) and that is a problem with no longer having windows support or firmware support licences for drivers and windows will not load footage is also a problem as file player is loaded onto cd when burning which is also a problem when you try to view on a later windows machine and you won’t get remote viewer working .... support for that ended 5 years ago its only between 3.7 to 7fps adding another drive is also a headache with having to create partion and a path is it worth spending money on are you using up cameras or analog

Hi. Avers are not that easy to setup after a problem each model has different software. have you removed the original hard drive? do you have the CDkey for your unit it is needed. You also need to understand partitions on hard drives or you won’t get it to record. is there a reason why you want to get this unit up and running after all these years

    But which one?

Oh ok I thought Scotland and Wales was United Kingdom. it was only a friendly start to your post ? no the url will be on your website directing back to your video on YouTube you could use ftp stream from your nvr to YouTube account

    But which one?

Sorry thought you was in the uk. £1000 budget is way more than what you need for your project. you also need to take into account Squarespace don’t host video direct you will need to also need something like YouTube and use the url from there 4k camera will do what you need I would also use a nvr for easy setup of your camera and for downloading footage to upload on a page

    But which one?

hi. Tim can’t make out if your Snowdonia or west Scotland location nice views it all depends on your budget .... it is a good location to use a ptz camera and if your looking at making it public on a web page you could have it doing a slow tour. what is your budget
  16. Ok we’re are you located ? there is patch cable and solid cat5 .... it’s the solid you need
  17. Hi. Yes that is the idea .... but I would not use that type of balun that last used in the description What length of cat5 are you looking for ?
  18. Hi I would do it in cat5 ..... saves doing any more cable work in the future cat5 will run analog HD analog and IP cameras you can also run more than 1 camera down cat5

    Looking for advice

Hi. A system that best meets your needs is called a IP system 8 channel NVR 6 IP cameras 2 IP cameras with audio 1 reel of cat5 cable (comes in 300m) 16 RJ45 plugs you don’t need any port supplies as the NVR supplies the power down the same cable
  22. Hi. cable kits not good ...... not even 75ohm. Your faulty camera will be one of the yellow bnc there are 100s of posts on here about those cable kits.... no good for power no good for video can you change the leads easy ? How far are the cameras on the yellow leads
  23. Ok try some more tests. we’re are you based ? just noticed two other things in your picture first you are showing remote login pictures. Do you have a monitor connected plus it looks like your connected to cloud and your camera ID also shows Cam1@793593... which looks like XMeye server. also in your picture you camera shows OSD (on screen display) and it’s showing POC (power over coax) is this how your cameras are powered ..... coax and power cable to cameras or just coax

    Looking for advice

Hi Paul ..... good budget it will come under that. POE system is best for you and it also means no extra power to install or add to the stables POE is also a lot less cabling

    Looking for advice

Hi Paul It is getting that way in the uk with livestock. what is your budget for this install. mid this is your first install then go with a IP system plug and play and much better than hd analog With coax 1 cat5 cable to each camera back to the recorder no power cable needed. I would also make at least two of your cameras with audio... you can hear your horses if in distress don’t buy cheap of the likes of eBay or amazon ok it’s to look at your stables but it also becomes a health and safety tool I have a post on here a few years ago at a racehorse stables and we also installed sensors on the barn doors that alert you when ever a barn door is opened .... it sends a text to your mobile phone
