  1. The client requested to install a switch (access control system's reader, key switch, etc.) to switch off the conference room camera when it is not supposed to be operational. CCTV is built on branded PoE cameras, VMS, etc. What is coming to a head is to use the access control system's PGM to switch on/off the data channel on the PoE cable and confirm the Video loss alarm through the access system's signalling. Could you please share whether some standard solution or your experience could help to implement the functionality the client needs? Thanks:)

Who sell Netvision cards in EU?

Hi, We already had contacts with Netvision. As I said, I just simply need an EU importer, and particular EU country does not matter in this case. I will ask my questions to the importer directly. Your sales manager (seems not "in" EU, but more "for" EU) is not able to provide importers' contacts because of unknown reasons or different understanding of business management. For us is one very understandable rule: no contacts - no money. We just switch to other "manufacturer" when project time limits reached. You as representative of Netvision (at least I can predict it from your signature) are able to contact your staff and send a private forum message with some contacts to me. Right? But you did not. Why? I am sure people, particularly installers and security managers, hate messages with no direct answers, or with promotional information or psychological push like "...look how big and strong we are...“ If you care about your products and company prestige you would try to send customer to right importer/business partner, because "there are many companies" who just buy and sell and finally have no any support possibilities. Am I wrong? Have a nice day!
  3. Would buy NV HF/HC series
  4. [ DVR software, check version and get a later version, also try the software you have on a different spec machine Thanks for suggestions. Latest software ran CPU at 100%, resolution - same CIF. I have asked manufacturer to send me some recordings as a reference. I have got same CIF recording files instead of 640*480:)) But the question is still open, because they still believe the cards can do more than CIF...
  5. Hi, Slight problem occurred with new DVR system so maybe you guys have something to suggest for me. The PC based DVR installation consists of Howell (www cctvhowell com) 2x 8ch HW cards with the max specification as 640*480@25fps per channel recording. Problem: the system recordings are less than stated: 352x288 (or 320 x 240, when software was desperatively installed as for NTSC) and does not matter what are settings set by software (resolution, Mpeg4/h.264, fps). The fps I can change, compression too, it is recognizable. But resolution sits same 352x288. Tech support still has no answer for more than 2 months. What do you think which segment works incorrect? PC bus? Driver? DVR software? Cards? What would you suggest to test? Any ideas? Thank you for your support. Regards
