    can't be sure but if you have a lithium backup on the processor board, you may find a reset switch or jumper to disable battery this should reset firmware to factory specs (providing defalt is "static")keep in mind this action may void any warranties

    DVR software, check version and get a later version, also try the software you have on a different spec machine

    The pc that you can use the browser on is the key, is it a server? if so the ip interface (cameras or dvr) is not allowing access to "share" (i think)

    I think it would be 100 meters or 300 feet (US) but I suggest you look at wika or some info site on data transfer distances
