  3. Dude, the "AS" stands for "Australian Standards" and are hosted on the Govt's standards website. So, YES, they are government standards AS 4806.1–2006–Closed circuit television (CCTV)–Part 1: Management and operation. AS 4806.2–2006–Closed circuit television (CCTV)–Part 2: Application guidelines. AS 4806.3–2006–Closed circuit television (CCTV)–Part 3: PAL signal timings and levels.
  4. Any chance you can send me the link to the electrical/fire safety info you found on the aussie forum ? Most of our standards are pretty decent here, but as with the typical online comments, many people don't always have accurate info. The CCTV ones are supposed to be decent from what ive been told, I'm waiting till next month to purchase the new standards as our membership won't be active till the next billing cycle. I'll update you when ive read them though.
  5. Try an Inner Range Concept 4000 running insight interfaced with a Dedicated Micros, Pacom or a couple other DVR's. FULL intergration with the alarm

    GV800 and Panasonic WV-CW864A

panasonic PTZ's work fine with geo cards. 1. you have to set the menu in the panasonic to the correct settings (and the dip switches on the rear). ill scan in hte manual pages re dip switches if you like ??

    Geo fault gv600 7.05

Ive got a machine running the last downloadable version of Geo 7.05 from geo's site. basically there are several Panasonic PTZ's connected to it and it is controlled via a 485 add on card. control is just done via a mouse clicking on the pre-set locations and lr zoom etc. when I choose address 1 to control, as soon as i click on any function l, r, preset etc, it just reverts back to address 2. is there a setting that needs to be changed ??? this did not happen when running 7.0

  13. Dell SUCK! Ive had nothing but trouble with pagkages people buy from dell!
  14. ive installed several ptz's on geovision setups. always use the Geo I/O card and mostly use the panasomic WV-CS850/854's) and get 1700+ feet without an issue. the I/O card is cheap as chips and keeps everything from the same manafacturer.
  15. Looking for a used GV800 that somebody is selling cheap Got a customer wanting to upgrade their current setup but I only have a GV600 to loan out and not particularly keen on buying a brand new one just for a demo unit. 8 camera inputs.
