cctvfan 0 Posted May 15, 2005 Does anyone have seen a Live demo of this DVR, or have something bad to say about it? http://www.surveillance-spy-cameras.com/embedded-dvr.htm Looks like a good deal -- 480fps, H.264, pentaplex, full audio, 4xCIF (though it's vague on whether it can record at that res, or live display only). rory 0 Posted May 16, 2005 If its linux embedded then it wont record in 704x576 in real time, that would have to be in 352x288 at the most. There are no embedded DVRs that record real time yet in high res, unless they are using embedded XP. There are however quite a few linux embedded DVRs that are doing what this one is in low res, which to me is useless. As far as OEM, never seen it before, and I could point you in the direction of other ones that have similar specs and have well known brand names.
