Is some ding-dong trying to crack my pasword?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday & today I received this message:

"You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below."

Seems a little strange to me. The only thing I can think of is some dipsh!t is trying to get into my acount here - why, I don't know.

Maybe it's a bot.

I emailed the admin to let him know.

No issues with my account yet.

But got a PM from another member earlier on about the same issue.

Looks like some sort of glitch. I just logged out and back in and it said the same thing. Logged out and in a second time, and it went through fine.

Maybe he's testing a new challenge-response test...?

Yeah, I got it too.

I suggest everyone makes a very strong password. Actually, I may enforce a strong password to enhance security.

I suspect it was a bot trying to get in.

OT: Hey Larry,

Can you check out my post requesting the dealer/installer/integrator profile permissions please? I just want to take a peek @ some of the restricted topics to see if I can learn/contribute.

TIA
