Hey Coop, hope you guys are doing well...

I have not been in UK in the last 6 years... I have a business trip coming up to Europe November time line (excluding France - they all hate us, Americans)... for 6 weeks to cover not only Europe, but I have to visit Romania, Chek Republic, Bulgaria, Hungry, Russian territory, etc... I will look you up when I arrive to UK....

Oh Metz .... you had to pick November!

Mrs. C. is threatening to drag me off on holiday for two weeks, and she's even talking about possibly California!!

Now that would be ironic!!

BTW, in case you haven't noticed, the French aren't too keen on the English either. Mind you, they do like the French, well some of them at least ( the rest of France is not too keen on Parisiennes! ).

The French don't really like anyone. Thier attiude to international relations is alot like ours, they just generally don't have the ability to project as much force.

You'll like this;

Three weeks ago, President Chirac of France made erm, less than complimentary statements about British cuisine.

The French absolutely hate loathe and detest English food, but as the UK has just taken over the Presidency of the European Union (for the next six months), it's just been announced that every high level EU meeting will be catered ..... with English produce.

As they said on the news yesterday (I can't remember who said it originally), revenge is a dish best served cold.

Not to be mean but Chirac wasn't far off. I mean the British have many wonderful cultural achivements, but cooking isn't on that list.

the rest of the food, well alot of the US food IS british food, and vice versa with mcdonalds etc in the UK

Yall need to try some pigs feet and sheeps tongue - da real bahamian food - ARGHhhhh ,,, nope i dont go there ...

Oh yeah, i lived in France when I was younger for a little bit, and both the US and the UK food rocks compared to the average french meal .. except their crepes and cidar for breakfast aint half bad ...

Hey guys, how did we shift talking about vacations to foods

As for foods, well I really do not care for French foods as their unjust attitude reflects it all.... I can never understand any ethnic group's attitude tawards anyone else and specially French... I am not very picky on any types of foods, hell I have been in Asia and even snakes dishes taste better than any French food....

I lived in France for a year and I can tell you first hand that they have some nice people, but majority are, well very impressional and self confident and I always wondered why? Is it the language which came from Latin, is it their short lived and borring history, is it their overpriced and cheap wine, is it their socialist government structure??? Or am I missing anything?

I could not belive that Chirac actually made any comments about English foods and this is before he was invited to have a dinner with the Queen?? If his attitude shows anything being the head of this country, it does confirm their unjust and stupid attitude tawards anyone...
