KPD675 Reset Problem

Hello,

 

I have a KPD675Z-A model that needed to be reset. After doing a reset it got stuck in reboot loop and kept making loud beeping noises. Now it will not power on properly. I constantly connected and disconnected the power cable in the back of the device and now when I put the power cable back in it immediately makes a loud constant beeping noise and the power LED and fan does not turn on.

 

I opened the case and noticed that the green circular object on the motherboard with lots of wiring looped around it seems to have melted a bit. Can I salvage this situation? Or do I have to buy a new DVR?

 

Is it possible to purchase just a new motherboard for this older model from somewhere?

hi. 8 way avtech .... its only a cif res DVR i think you are best spending your money on a D1 replacement
