Connect DVR to Network Wirelessly?

Hi, First let me thank you for the helpful advice you all have provided previously. My question for today, is it possible to connect a DVR to a network wirelessly? There seems to be a mixed consensus on this? Anybody know of a tried and true way?

Connect your DVR to a wireles router with brige function. See if your other network has a router with bridge function or buy one and connect it.

 

Go to your nearest computer shop and they will advise you. Ask for combining two networks wirelessly.

 

Personally I would avoid going wireless at ANY cost.

Hi. the easy way is to go Ethernet over power.

 

1 unit plugs into DVR and 1 unit into router.

I like to use TP-Link's nano router to do this, since they are powered with 5V, so I can just power them from a USB port on the DVR.

That is the kind I would NOT use. The one tomcctv recommended is the right kind, although I would try to get a wire over there.
