Need help hacking firmware 5.1.6 Chinese to English

As BW pointed out in another post, the link above is to 5.1.0 firmware, so it doesn't help those who want newer firmware without the language issues.

 

It's odd that Hik has 5.1.0 on the web firmware page, while the ftp pages have newer versions. Somebody's not keeping up the web pages.

Hi I've got the Chinese Version and did the 5.1.6 Hack...so far it works fine. The only issue I found, is push notification does not wirk with the IOS IVMS-4500 App. Can anyone confirm the issue?

Did Not try- went back to 5.1.2 behause of the push notification issue.

You must have an iPhone, on Android the option is not even there.

 

Do not bother with push, yet. From what I know, it is still in development, and is not working at all.

Sorry I know its getting off topic a little but can you explain how you had it set up on firmware 5.1.2?

 

I use iVMS4200 PC_NVR and if I tried to enable that option on my iphone it would give an error.

 

Do you have it directly pushing messages from the individual cameras?
