Avigilon Andriod app

Avigilon rolled out a new app for Andriod. Now, the the phone tries to connect using https and then after a long pause, gives a warning for each server. I then click OK several times so that each server then connects to http. The wait is painfully long. Is there a way to avoid this delay and automatically connect to http?

Thanks, Alex, I checked the Gateway and Https is set to 443 but the phone will not connect on 443. Guessing 443 is not port forwarded. Will check. That said, I'm not sure if I have access to all the routers for port forwarding. If the Android is set to port 80, why does the phone first try https? There should be some way to select http or https on the phone. This seems like a defect to me. Your thoughts?

With the latest update Avigilon is basically forcing you use https for the mobile Gateway and HTLM5 web interface.

 

A back up plan is the change port 80 or whatever port you are currently using to the https port. This way you don't have to change any firewall settings.
