cctv for 300 acre farm of peaches and almonds

Recommended Posts

I have a client who is interested in getting cctv for his 300 acre farm. His Uncle was killed by a worker at the farm and they did not find his body for alomost a month so he his very scared and does not trust any of the workers. Money is not a consern. He wants to cover all of the area. There is a small house in the middle and rest is just big trees. Around the house i could do wiring up to 2 or 300 feet but other i have no clue.

what system should i look into for him, dvr, wireless or ip

getting powr to the cam's will be my consern, mybe i can use something with solar power and battery

i think wireless will not do, well im not sure, he wants day and night.

he wants something that can do the follwing

if there is movement, cam can do close up and pan tilt automaticly and follow the object with remote viewing, recording and remotely manuly zooming panning and tilting.

so im thinking ip cam's with solar power and battery but i don't know where to began

i like to know from somebody who has dome similar things

thank you

Hello,

You should probably hire one of our expert members here as a sub-contractor or consultant to do this for you. We have some very qualified people hire to that would do a very good job of putting this together.

Since violence has already occurred you definately want to do this right.

Where is this farm located? Is it all flat land or hills too? Also, is there any considerable distance getween the tree rows?

Something like this for transmission ..

One of these with the Auto Tracking feature ..

http://www.autodome.com/

Then the Infrared will depend on what the distance is ..

As for power would need to calculate amps and contact Extreme, they may be able to supply the Solar.

Otherwise you could search for a Thermal System which would use less solar power.

Or use what Jman suggested for a ready made kit.
