Can you please send me any posts on any cameras used to read license plates. I think there were some from extreme. Or any links. Thanks.

any camera can see license plates, you know the resolution of cam is important and the lense also, for focal distance,

Im using the samsung line now as everyone is using bosch in my area and it dont give much to quote against if using same gear plus the bosch repo is a wank, bosch01 on his number plates of compoany car and hes not even GM,

 

 

 

As you would know Geovision have LPR software going now,

I am looking at going to comart for my cards as geo's to dear in AUS....

 

 

 

I have recently been using KOBI cams to,

 

I am from AUS remb (pls dont hold that against me LOL)

 

 

enyone seen dvraus (think he used to call himself) around..........

yeah he works for Bosch Australia now .. he hasnt been on here for a long time now ..

Worked perfectly, though im not sure they have anything for that distance .. check the PDFs though just incase.

dvraus aint worked at bosch for quite some time early last year,

 

Im reffering to the manager not dvraus, dvraus and I got on so well..

 

 

I forgot all about this site,

if you need extra distance and can afford to sacrifice width, computar makes various lens extenders that work quite nice.
