Sensormatic protocol for DVR

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am in a DVR proyect which need to handle some American Dynamics domes using the Sensormatic Protocol.

I have been looking over internet to find the Sensormatic Protocol code sheet ( with the hex commands ) to implement it on my dvr software, but no good luck.

If anyone can help me on this, I will really appreciate !!!

Thanks

The protocol you are looking for is named "AD422" and is the open one.

Just worked with it yesterday so drop me a mess if you run in to problem.

I also have it in a PDF or use google.

You can run it with rs422 or rs485 with AD422@4800,

for sensornet input you need some kind of AD controler ADTT16, AD2088 and so.

It also can be run as Pelco@2400/9600.

You should be able to address the domes from 600 onwards and this should enable them to work with Pelco protocol if this helps ???

Besides UltraDomes protocols, which other ones do you have working? If you already have Pelco D protocol, then you are styling, because you can program American Dynamics UltraDomes to operate with Pelco D protocol by programming these domes via built in DIP switches.

Hope this helps.
