  4. $2000 monthly subscription……. No wonder you need to spam websites I see you only started 2 years ago with a budget website …… which is odd and then you only buy a 99 cents domain name for 5 years ……. Looks like you don’t expect to be around long

    Testing CCTV Analogue Cable

So you have power and internet at both locations while using 12v at camera end (12v what amp ?) what voltage are you getting at dvr end coax ?

    Testing CCTV Analogue Cable

That would not help …. Your original power supply may have been set to 14v ….. it’s adjustable 12v 0.5 amp can’t work at your distance 140 meters to run a camera ….. it is not possible you don’t seam to be looking at amps as far as your ohm readings …. It’s pointless you will get different readings down to make of cable … how attached this is a 75ohm terminator that you put on one end of coax and then ohm test for 75ohm now for the distance your talking about ….. cat5 with baluns should of been used as far as power supply I would go 24v then knock down to 12 at camera end and another give away is the camera you have at 190meters is poor …… which also should be done in cat5

    Testing CCTV Analogue Cable

Ok 12v 5amp total 🟰 0.5 amp each this is pushing you power to the limit if not over 12v 0.5amp can not go 140meters (450ft) voltage and current drop but that power supply is adjustable and you can get 14v out of it which is why it worked and it’s not allowing that voltage anymore …. You can try altering the voltage again by turning up the yellow voltage pot indicated we’re it says 12 adj (hole next to it) but you are under powered and you always have been for 140 meters are you in the uk

Hi this is more likely to be a power problem what amp is your 12v power supply

    Testing CCTV Analogue Cable

Hi what is your coax running … camera feed or dvr feed to your monitor doing ohms test will show nothing you need a bnc 75ohm resistor plug at one end but 450ft of coax and power will not run anything at that distance

    Floureon 4 channel NVR

Hi sounds like the output resolution has been set too high for your monitor/tv do you have a 1080p monitor ? If you do and it’s not showing cameras then you might have set res to 4K
  13. Hi sorry been working last few days I would look at a TVT system it’s reliable and will last years also it has the best app available for a nvr …. Gives you full control of cameras and nvr and also remote reboot the app is SuperLive plus what part of the US and I’ll try find a store

Hi…… unless you pay then only your device has cloud access these are not cctv cameras and as you see there only $30 but the cloud cost once you go for over 7 days it starts to get expensive I don’t understand why people buy these after reading the terms and conditions also did you inform family and friends the data collected from there devices before you added them both extra recordings(over7days) and cloud (more than 1 person) needs you to go on monthly subscription and they don’t guarantee your footage you don’t need subscription for cctv
  16. Hi we’re are you based and how many cameras do you have now and how many are you looking at upgrading too if your buying a nvr now is the time to buy for the amount of channels you want if you give a location I’ll find links for you
  17. Hi. It’s unusual for someone to take the pc or nvr and leave the cameras …. So you are a winner if there still working and touring you might find last owner has access if internet is still available these cameras also carry a onboard SD card …. Buy removing the card and installing into a pc will give you the details for that camera ….. name …… local iP …. Which is a good start for resetting I would also only do 1 cam at a time as they are still recording to the sd card giving you protection (about 2 days of recording) I would go with a nvr that supports axis cameras which is the cheapest option

  19. Not of default passwords ……. It’s a simple keyboard operation it’s only 3 digits If your reply was something like ….. I just got it secondhand or given it then I would of sent you the code but just asking for UC and not explain why….. the UC is a code used everyday so you can’t have forgotten it……… yes it’s 10 years old but still used
  20. Hi most controllers have this function and is programmable from a few minutes to hours it stops unauthorised operation on the cameras giving a generated password on a forum would be a unreasonable action if it’s your controller or your the administrator then you should know the set code anyway
  21. Thank you Charlie ….. this is what the forums for. clad we could help Simple things that should be in the manuals but never are 👍

    Hanwha: Expensive mistake

Hi so am I so you have paid over £300 for the Samsung and it’s just a standard 5mp camera qnap does support most cameras but the problem is a lot of ptz are software based for tracking ….. a lot have there software on the nvr for the ptz tracking so you should be looking for ptz with software onboard it’s more reliable and much better qnap supports over 90% of either but for the money your talking of I would look at smart tracking I’ll pm you a video of one
