I am the Auatralian distributor of Panasonic CCTV products.

The easy fix is to use a password.

Panasonic has released the new reange of IP cameras with a prompt to configure the password so there is no default one left in the system.

You can also lock puplic users down to not be able to move the camera and there is a privacy function that disables all viewing by paning the lens into the camera shell.

Some of you that have unprotected video servers out there, you may want to read this ... also, you can actually do a search on google, it comes back with over 1000 axis servers! (not that i recommend it ofcourse)

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum,

Yeah I realise that Pano would more than likely have the security, I imagine the only issue would be something like axis that sells basically over the counter, most axis users just dont realise they are wide open .. though they may have fixed that by now ..
