Infrared camera in housing

I was wondering if any of you guys has every put a infrared camera or a bullet camera in a housing?

bullet camera yes. All my IR cameras have their own housings. IR you will probably have issues unless you get the IR right up against the glass.

I actually take the glass off, but if you position it right, then it will be OK.

Well, it takes fabrication, I actually made a Wood stand for it, by using a 1 by 4, and cuting it to a measurement that would basically give me a wood piece where I can attach the P.O.S. plastic stand that they comes with. I wish I could take a pic, but they are installed already.

Bullet cameras are no problem, simply screw the bracket to the camera tray that comes with the housing.

The cameras with the built in I.R (about the size of a coke can) we mount in a similar way to the bullet but take the glass out & it looks good with the housings we use.

btw Lilin now make a housing with built in I.R for normal box cameras.
