Being Sued over dog Barking - Need some help

Hi. Doing this would be a mistake you can’t add footage that did not exist before the complaint or scc was filed scc Is made up of council members if you have it in writing the council was not going to take further take that to court with you
  3. Hi. Yes this is one of the benefits of an IP system nvr at one location and camera at another anywhere

    NTSC PAL Camera

Hi. I know the controller is compatible switchable via dip switches switch dips for rj45 data but you will have to check if your ptz cameras are rj45 compatible a modern recorder will also allow mouse control as well as controller you can also control via a pad if you have a local network onboard

    NTSC PAL Camera

Hi then I would look at a hybrid recorder it will run your existing cameras and also allow you to go upto 4K analog or IP cameras not expensive it’s around €200

    NTSC PAL Camera

Hi. You have had good experiences with pano but don’t buy now or you will be stuck with many restrictions i have done boats for years for the Norse group ships called the Lagan Viking and the Viking. Both now sold by the stena line group lagan ship renamed Pelagos and is now in France owned by La meridionale now how many cameras do you have

    NTSC PAL Camera

Wow my advice is to swap out the recorder for a number of reasons 1st proprietary software …… no good for law 2nd cif record only ……. 7fps at 720x340 bad resolution compared to today’s systems what country are you in …. Most law enforcement or courts will allow proprietary software to view footage i would keep your existing cameras and your new one and replace the recorder
  8. Ok this is not a login problem …. It’s just a viewing problem mom the srn units you can’t do what you want anyway not just on Samsung but any system….. this is a problem with your server setup not nvr you can’t do this >> 1 user logs into nvr and watches footage from last Friday and then a second user logs in to watch footage from last Saturday…… you will get the message max 1 user …… it would be better your system saying already in use. Which it is from 1st user a drive only has 1 read path ….. as user 1 is watching last Friday the read path is searching the sector’s for that date…… user 2 can’t ask read path to look and scan last saturdays s sectors at the same time it’s already busy user 1 can login to nvr ….. user 2 can log into server (vms ) as it’s a different drive but I think your not setup for vms and this is your problem don’t get cms and vms mixed up
  9. Hi. Not heard of any system restricting number of users not on modern units …. Usually limit is between 20 and 100 you might be looking at how many in a group setting (all using same login credentials) which could be limited just give all users a different password should get you past your problem an other reason is your using a cheap China cloud service in which case it is the cloud service which is blocking you what make and what app are you using

    ir replacement

Hi. Smart IR is when the ptz zooms the IR gets brighter and dimmer when zoom in this stop white out a filter is what allows your camera to see when IR is on …… it’s either a motorised filter lens or on cheap cameras it on the lens filter for 850 will not always see 950 ir what is it your trying to do
  13. tomcctv

    ir replacement

Hi. This will reduce your IR range on your ptz and you would also need to change your filter the cost is a lot more than buying a new ptz ptz usually now come with smart IR if this is the case with your then no it’s not possible

Time counting wrong on DVR MURDER CASE

Hi. There could be many reasons why 10 minutes is missing from the footage 2nd Time and date some recorders allowed you to set date and time in different colours …. This would allow date time to stand out if background was dark What are you looking for …….are you police or lawyer or someone looking at the legality of the footage ? do you know if the footage was verified before it was used and also do you have the recorder
  15. Hi How many times have you been locked out of dvr ? you will need to switch off your unit for 20 minutes to unlock it this code is case sensitive and you also need to generate a new password on your recorder as this code is only temporary kuUkdr1201

    Video Analytics

Hi. Why would you put simple analytics such as intrusion and line crossing into hands of a 3rd party …. You will just be paying a fortune in alert fees on top of monitoring

    Bad BNC Connectors

Hi. Those BNC connectors have been around for a while … there common name is junk/ crap. And the problem is for a simple reason ….. you can’t crimp the centre pin use the 3 piece connection type like this ……. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kagni-Crimp-Connectors-RG58-cable/dp/B07RNG9MF2/ref=asc_df_B07RNG9MF2/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=205210909091&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=846123406316174022&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046494&hvtargid=pla-769423192976&psc=1#immersive-view_1628588813266

    Powering multiple Hikvision IP cams

Hi. video stream has nothing to do with powering cameras
  23. Wow that is not new ONVIF is only a standard protocol for IP cameras and NVRs and literally has nothing to do with what you want to setup infact most smart cams like the ones you are looking for are not even ONVIF Smart cameras and smart devices are proprietary to the MQTT service provider but since you say onvif is what you are looking for ….. I would say your looking at operating a camera monitoring station for existing systems from customers monitoring stations cost 10s 1000s just to setup for both ideas it’s like you have come up with a idea for smart home …… then thought of the money income but missed out the expensive middle which is the structure of the business amazon got into this market a few years ago they bought blink for $90 mil and then ring for over $1 billion
  24. Yes sounds good except you need to go back to the start you use a data company for payments and the protection but what about your protection video data from your customers….. inside / outside of there homes image and audio collection ……. Remember your holding the video data of your customers for a set amount of time or how much storage for a set cost how do you protect that and guarantee your servers captured that data mqtt company is best used for everything they do everyday you might find it’s safer to get licence from one of the companies ….. just rebadged there equipment as your own and they will also supply you with apps in your name all you have to do then is build up your own customers amazon does this world wide ……. Ring doorbell is amazon ring security cameras are Amazon
  25. hi. I am not putting your idea down I just think starting it all from scratch by yourself it is not going to happen you gave two wrong answers privacy OK this requires a management company ….. subscription/ bank details / names address can only be done via a data company then again it’s cost …….. as you are developing your own software …..you are going to need your own control app ….. android is not a problem but the cost and getting apple approval is a lot of money and you do need a broker account for the data collection As you know there are a lot of iot smart automation companies for cameras you might be better talking with amazon ( they make there own) or Arlo ( which is net gear)
