DVR Remote doesn't move cameras over iPhone...

Recommended Posts

The lunaeyes.dvrdns.org is not supported by bubo bubo

Im afraid to ask, but what is that?

It's a DDNS.

were are you based. you have had this problem for a long time.

you seem to be going all directions. lunaeyes.dvrdns.org has nothing to do with your system it is just a demo site.

you are best just getting your system on line before you even think about using a DDNS service.

you should (to make things easy) just use your external ip (google myip)

http:// your ip :port number

I know that, but why?? If it's the same manufacturer of the other link?

Same manufacturer or not those are two totally different DVR's with different firmwares not to mention different hardware. The one on lunaeyes is only supported by the app scdvr and is no longer supported since it is already out of date.

This is my DDNS: lunaeyes.dvrdns.org where I login into my DVR.

So why can i see the cameras but not move them with scdvr?

Sounds like a command/control port is not open in the router.

But outside my home I can move the cameras with a laptop. But not with scDvr.

If I login at http://lupus.dvrdns.org:10001/ with 'test' and pass 'test' I can see the cameras and move them, but when I login at lunaeyes.dvrdns.org with 'temp' and pass 'temp' I can see the camera BUT not move them.

I have a Lupus Aeon 800 with PTZ Sony cameras, I think that http://lupus.dvrdns.org:10001/ has the same haedware....

Crappy customer service!!! Sick and tired of this!

Can comeone pease take a look and try to help me move the cameras?

Okay I went to http://lupus.dvrdns.org:10001 in IE8, logged in with test test, and used IE link and installed ActiveX and it crashed, but closed it and reopened and it connected and I could move the indoor PTZ around.

I also downloaded the remote desktop app and logged in with the same user and was able to move the PTZ around.

NEXT I went to http://lunaeyes.dvrdns.org:10001 in IE8 and logged in with temp temp, and the activeX was already installed, but the PTZ Icon was different and I think it was a different language - but I was able to take control and move the outdoor PTZ around.

I only saw 1 camera though, maybe the bandwidth is low.

So it works for me

I got it to work too. Camera 3 is the PTZ right? It moved the PTZ just fine. All other cams were too dark to see.

Is that an Icatch DVR? The web GUI looks very similar to one.

You only saw 1 camera because I have a mask on the other 2.

I can move the cameras too, but only with a PC, not with my iPhone or iPad. That's the problem..

I have neither so cant test that.

But the icons are different so its obviously different firmware.

everyone can log on to that IP.. it is the makers sales office and not the ops own IP.

to see if the dvr is even on the internet he needs to send someone his IP

I used both IPs, the makers (lupus) and his (lunaeyes), both worked, but he says it does work for him on a PC but not on a mobile phone. They both have different icons so I imagine its a different firmware if not a different DVR.

My DVR is on the Internet, because you can see the cameras via the lunaeyes.dvrdns.org DDNS.

if connected but no image try and change your port number from 10001 to 80 and also set your image quality down on your dvr

I changed to port 80 but no luck...

Since it works from a PC then the router is configured properly.

Its something to do with the iphone app you are using.
