Switch off nvr insert usb drive …… restart nvr ……. Go make a coffee for an hour -

Lorex says I can only use there POE switch
tomcctv replied to moose66's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Your right it’s all about sales Lorex (AKA) Dahua ….. if having to use there own POE switch…. Would start another problem dahua had a few years ago…… spyware……. It sounds like having to use there own Poe switch points to there always wanting to monitor there cameras for no other reason but there own high profile security installs would not be able to use lorex if that was the case as it is good practice to use a managed Poe switch which has more security and management (basically locks out a 3rd party) -

floureon cctv unit filmware needed
tomcctv replied to lee_n_co's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
hi one of the 3 passwords below will unlock two of your recorders ….. all codes below are only valid for today 394236 167872 789224 the recorder marked 5 in 1 you will need this password 816656 as far as software for password changing will not work as there is only firmware and it’s 5 years old and you need to be in recorder menu to update as far as buying xmeye systems I recommend you don’t buy anymore….. you don’t have full control over the system once you register with P2P xmeye it stays with that recorder there is a lot better recorders in the uk than xmeye systems -

SuperLive Plus and SuperCam Plus app slow online
tomcctv replied to klaudis's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. It is best to only have one app on your device it’s not good running both i would stick with SuperLive and delete the other off your device if you only setup with qr code then it will always be slow even when at home if you don’t setup the sub stream right but you also need to setup local connection you do this by adding your system again under server list on the app but instead of scanning the qr code you enter the recorders IP address…… you will find the iP under network on your recorder (wright it down) go to app …. Top left …. Press the 3 lines …. Then click server list ….. then click + top right of screen …… click manually add…… then click serial number and it will give you a option serial number or iP/ domain …… click on iP/ domain and this is we’re you enter the iP of your recorder……device name … type home ……. User and password is the same you used on setup 192.168.x.x home user password then save -
